The "Battle to LuckyFes" audition, which offers the chance to perform on the LuckyFes'26 stage, has narrowed down the field to 8 groups from 1,132 entries through video submissions! The final selection round will be held in Tokyo for the first time on June 7th.

LuckyFM Ibaraki Broadcasting Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) conducted video auditions for "Battle to LuckyFes'26," an audition to determine who will perform at the music festival "LuckyFes'26," which will be held at Hitachi Seaside Park (Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture) on August 8th (Sat), 9th (Sun), 10th (Mon), and 11th (Tue/Holiday). Out of a total of 1,132 entries, 34 groups remained after the audio audition, and from those, 8 groups were selected through the video audition.

The judging panel consisted of LuckyFes project producer DJ DRAGON, chief coordinator Mana Mizumura, BARKS chairman Tetsuya Karasuma, LuckyFM programming department members Takashi Kamogawa and Miho Shuto, and TuneCore Japan's Takumi Nobe.

The final judging will take place on June 7th at the live music venue "Shimokitazawa BASEMENTBAR" with a live audience. Up to three contestants who receive high marks from both the judges and the audience will perform on the LuckyFes'26 stage. They will also receive a prize of 100,000 yen.
