LuckyFM Ibaraki Broadcasting Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) held the final selection round of the "Battle to LuckyFes" audition, which will determine the performers who will have the right to perform on stage at LuckyFes'26, a four-day event to be held at Hitachi Seaside Park on August 8th (Sat), 9th (Sun), 10th (Mon), and 11th (Tue/Holiday). The four groups selected are ALL iN FAZE, Kijima El, Kafune, and Rei[Hz].

The eight finalists, selected from 1,132 entries through audio and video screening, were WHISPER OUT LOUD, ALL iN FAZE, Kafune, Kijima El, Rei[Hz], Taira Aoi, night roomers, and hatata (in alphabetical order). The final selection took place on Sunday, June 7th, at the live music venue "Shimokitazawa BASEMENTBAR". The judges were LuckyFes project producer DJ DRAGON, LuckyFes chief coordinator Mizumura Mana, LuckyFM programming department leader Kamogawa Takashi, TuneCore Japan's Nobe Takumi, and BARKS' Karasuma Tetsuya. Audience votes from approximately 200 people also influenced the results.

The four groups who successfully earned the right to perform will appear as opening acts (OA) on the following dates: ALL iN FAZE on August 8th (Sat), Kijima El on August 9th (Sun), Kafune on August 10th (Mon), and Rei[Hz] on August 11th (Tue/Holiday). Performance times and stages will be announced at a later date. In addition, Kiyoka Fukushima, who appeared as an OA last year, now has a radio show on LuckyFM and will be appearing on Lucky Space this year.

<DJ DRAGON's comment>
"Battle to LuckyFes'26" has successfully concluded. This year, it was held in Tokyo for the first time at Shimokitazawa BASEMENTBAR, and the passionate performances by 8 groups selected from over 1,000 applicants were simply amazing! I was amazed by the high level of enthusiasm from the fans who gathered.

With high-level performances transcending genre boundaries, including rock, pop, and singer-songwriters, one after another unfolded, I feel that it truly became a crossover event befitting LuckyFes. Every artist was fantastic, and although we originally planned to select three acts, we were so impressed by their passion and talent that we decided to hastily select four acts to perform at LuckyFes '26.

The judging process was incredibly close, including for the artists who unfortunately didn't make the cut. We are delighted that our first Tokyo event was a success, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended, and above all, to all the artists who took on the challenge.

Experience the same energy from this event at LuckyFes in August!
